In connection with JajaH and “As It Is”
Take a moment to pause, breathe and reconnect at Vipassana Meditation &
Sound Bath with JajaH, held in connection with his exhibition As It Is.
This guided session offers a space for deep stillness and reflection
through mindfulness practice, paired with the healing vibrations of
sound. Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 AM – 12 PM at
the Community Artists’ Collective for an immersive experience that
nurtures both spirit and mind.
JajaH is a visual artist from Houston, Texas, whose work explores themes
of self-awareness and inner transformation. He began drawing at age
twelve and studied art at HSPVA and the University of Houston, where he
became active in the city's street art and mural scene. A former member
of Project Row Houses and co-founder of the Annunaki Artist Collective
(2012–2016), Joshua has exhibited widely, including his 2018 solo show
The Light Machine. That same year, he began practicing Vipassana
meditation, which now deeply informs his murals, portraits, and
performances.
